MACRO Structure
A log file is written whenever an error occurs. If you experience an error, please locate and copy the relevant error log file before contacting Customer Support.
The default location of each log file is shown in the table below. For some modules, the location can be viewed/changed within the config file for the relevant module. See image
Note: If you are using Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 with UAC enabled, the log files will be located in a shared folder outside the Application folder. This alternative location will have been specified during the installation of MACRO.
Log files can only contain a certain amount of data. When they are full, a further file is created with the creation date added to the original file name.
