Creating a list of clinical test groups

Each test group is a logical grouping of clinical tests. Tests are assigned to a test group upon their creation within the Tests tab.

To create, edit or delete clinical test groups, you need the 'Maintain clinical tests' permission

Select Parameters > Normal Ranges and CTC. The Normal Ranges and CTC window is displayed with the Test Groups tab open.
Click Create. Fields that are filled with yellow are mandatory and need to have valid data entered before the screen can be saved.
Enter a unique code and a description for the clinical test group. The code must begin with a letter and may have up to 15 alphanumeric characters. Spaces are not allowed but you can use the underscore character instead.
Click Save to save the new test group, or Cancel to abort the creation.

Select Parameters > Normal Ranges and CTC. The Normal Ranges and CTC window is displayed with the Test Groups tab open.
Select the group that you wish to edit and click Edit.
Make your changes and click Save to save them, or Cancel to abort.

Select Parameters > Normal Ranges and CTC. The Normal Ranges and CTC window is displayed with the Test Groups tab open.
Select the group that you wish to delete and click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion, or No to abort.

When you export a study, only those clinical test groups and clinical tests which are referenced from lab questions in the study are exported with the study definition. You can export a set of clinical test groups and clinical tests by adding them to a laboratory and exporting the laboratory.
