You may wish to specify a set of units of measurement for selection when creating real and integer number questions, both in the Library Management and Study Definition modules. Units of measurement cannot be deleted.
Select Parameters > Units and Conversion Factors. The Units and Conversion Factors window is displayed.
In the left panel, select the Unit Class relating to the type of unit you want to add. This displays any existing units in the next panel. Select Individual if your unit does not belong to any of the other categories.
Click New.
Enter the new unit into the New or changed Unit entry field.
Click Add to accept the new unit, or Cancel to abort.
You cannot change any units that are currently being used in a question definition, a clinical test definition, or in a conversion factor definition.
Select Parameters > Units and Conversion Factors. The Units and Conversion Factors window is displayed.
Select the unit that you wish to change and click Edit.
Make your changes to the name in the New or changed Unit entry field.
Click Change to accept the change, or Cancel to abort.
The unit conversion feature is not available in the current version of MACRO. You can specify a conversion factor but it will have no effect in the Web Data Entry module. Existing conversion factors cannot be deleted.
