The appearance of a date/time question

A date/time question is displayed on the eForm as a text box only (default) See image

You can add a calendar button See image This allows the data entry user to select a date from a popup calendar. See image

If you have set a partial date format for a date/time question then the unused element will be discarded after the date has been selected from the calendar. For example if you only require a month and year then the day will be discarded. If you find this is confusing for the data entry user you might choose not to add the calendar button to questions that allow partial dates.

To change the display, select the question on the eForm, then select Format > Change to > Calendar. Or right click the question on the eForm, then select Change to > Calendar from the popup menu.

Comparing and manipulating dates and times
