High Performance Mode changes the way data is retrieved in a data browser search.
By default, High Performance Mode is switched off
and data for the entire search result is retrieved when you click the
Execute button
in the search panel. With High Performance
Mode switched on, results are retrieved page-by-page instead which greatly
improves the speed at which the results are returned if you are working
with a lot of data.
Note that in High Performance Mode, the filtering and ordering options only affect results on the current page rather than the complete set of results.
To enable High Performance Mode, please request an administrator to edit the settings file. Once switched on, the mode affects all studies. It is not possible to switch it on for a single study.
