When answering a question that requires a date/time entry, bear in mind the following points:
There are three ways of entering a date:
Type the date/time in
the format chosen by the Study Designer. This format is displayed
in a tooltip when you hover the mouse over the question field.
You may be able to enter a date in a format other than the one specified
but it will be automatically changed to the one set by the study designer.
If there is a down arrow
to the right of the entry field, a calendar is available. Click on
the down arrow to display the calendar then click on a date to select
it. See example
If the question only requires a month and year, or only a year, you
can still use the calendar but the extraneous elements will be discarded.
For example you select 12 MAY 2021 but only MAY 2021 will be added
to the question field.
To quickly enter today's date, type t and press Enter.
MACRO accepts date values from 1st January 1600 to 1st March 2695 inclusive.
Type the time, using the 24 hour clock. For example, to indicate 9 o'clock in the evening, you would need to enter 21 for the hour element.
To enter subject data, you need the 'Change Data' permission.
