Opening an existing study

• Select File > Open. A list of existing studies is displayed. Tips on viewing and searching the list

  Viewing

  Use the View menu within the list of studies to alter the display:

  Large icons	Displays the studies as large icons.
  Small icons	Displays the studies as small icons.
  List	Displays the studies in a vertical list.
  Details	This is the default option. It displays the studies in a vertical list with details of status, phase, expected recruitment, study type and keywords as entered onto the Study Details tab. Click a column heading to re-order the list according to the details within that column.

  Searching

  If you have assigned keywords to the studies, you can enter one (or part of one) into the text box at the top and click Search. All studies whose keywords contain your entry will be listed.

  Click Refresh to display all studies.

   

• Select the study that you want to open and click OK.

• The study is opened and the main screen is displayed. If you are using the Multi-User Study Definition feature, the study will open as Read Only unless you specify otherwise.

Closing a study

1. Select File > Close.

2. The study is closed but the Study Definition module remains open.
