Using this help system

By default, the table of contents is displayed to the left of the main help window. If it isn't displaying, click the Contents tab. You will see a list of 'books', which contain information arranged in individual help topics.

1. Click on a book to open it. The list of topics within the book will be displayed beneath it.

2. Click on an individual topic to display its contents in the help window to the right.

To use the Index, click the Index tab.

• Type a word related to the area with which you need help. The index scrolls to highlight the entry matching the word (or the nearest match). Select the index entry that you are interested in.

• If there is only one topic associated with the entry, it will be displayed in the help window. If there is more than one topic associated with the entry, a popup list containing these topics will be displayed. Select a topic to open it in the help window.

To use the search facility, click the Search tab.

This facility will search for each occurrence of the specified word. It works by matching the word and not by deciphering its meaning. It is best to use the other means of finding information first as the search may result in a long list of topics.

• Type a word and press Find. A list of topics containing that word will be displayed. Click on a topic to open it. Each occurrence of the specified word will be highlighted.

The glossary contains a list of words that can be found in the help files and provides a definition for each one.

1. To use the glossary, click the Glossary tab.

2. Select the entry that you are interested in.

3. The definition will be displayed in the window beneath the list.
