When running a subject data diagnostic report, subject data is checked in the following ways. Note that the SDDU does not change any MACRO data, and cannot correct any errors that are found.
Subject data is checked to see if anything has been moved or deleted from the study since the subject was last saved. Deletion of study objects is a common cause of subject data entry problems. The report identifies the following:
A question has been removed from an eForm
A question has been removed from an eForm and replaced
A question definition has been deleted
An eForm has been removed from a visit
An eForm definition has been deleted
A visit has been deleted
The Arezzo database tables are checked for consistency with the MACRO database tables. Each MACRO eForm and visit instance in the subject schedule is matched against the corresponding task instances in Arezzo. A visit instance is associated with one Arezzo task instance (of type "plan"). Each eForm instance is associated with two Arezzo task instances (of type "plan" and "action").
Each MACRO visit instance (in the VISITINSTANCE table) is matched against its corresponding task in Arezzo.
Each MACRO eForm instance (in the CRFPAGEINSTANCE table) is matched against its two corresponding tasks in Arezzo.
Each task instance in Arezzo is matched against its corresponding MACRO visit or eForm instance.
