You can create new subjects through the Batch Data Loading module. For example, if you are migrating subjects in from another study, you may find this method is quicker and easier than opening the Data Entry module and using File, New... for each individual subject.
From the File menu, click Generate Subjects.
The Subject Generator will be displayed.
Select the Study and Site for which you wish to generate subjects from the drop down lists. The next available ID number will be displayed.
Enter the number of new subjects you wish to create. The details of the new subjects you are about to create will appear in the buffer window.
If the details are correct, click Generate. The progress of your subject generation will be displayed in the Progress window in the bottom right- hand corner.
To abort the action and leave the Subject Generator without creating new subjects, click Exit.
