Batch Data Loading module
Use this module to import batches of single question responses into your database. Typically these might be laboratory test results, or output from another electronic system.
This is a quicker and easier alternative to manual data entry. All checks are made and expressions evaluated in the same way.
You can import data in either CSV or XML format.
An individual study question together with a response and the identity of the subject to which it belongs is known as a Batch Response.
Note that in a remote site configuration, you may not run Batch Data Loading on the central server for subjects from remote sites. Because of the way the data transfer mechanism works, the changing of response data for remote subjects on the server is not supported, and this includes the use of Batch Data Loading. For remote site data, Batch Data Loading must be run at the site itself.
A typical Batch Data Loading session has three stages:
import the Batch Responses from a file into the Response Buffer.
edit the Batch Responses in the Response Buffer if necessary
upload the Batch Responses - that is, enter the individual Batch Responses against their intended subjects in your study.
