Answering grouped questions

You may come across questions that have been grouped together into a box. Questions are grouped when they are related to each other. For example, you may find a group of questions asking you to enter the vital signs of the subject after each regular session of exercise. Each row would refer to a single session. See example

The individual questions are answered in the usual way but depending on choices made by the study designer, there may be some extra implications for you.

As you complete a row of questions, an identical row will be automatically created underneath for use if necessary. The study designer will have specified how many times a row can be repeated. Scroll bars will be provided if the questions do not all fit in the box.

Sometimes only the first few questions will be displayed for each row. Click the Full row link to display all questions in a popup window. See example

A status icon may be displayed at the beginning of a row. This is the row status, taken from the combined statuses of the questions within the row. Row status does not appear anywhere else in MACRO and cannot be specified in a data search; it is purely for information on the eForm itself. See example

Row status can include one each of DCR, SDV, Note/Comment status icons. For example, if a Raised DCR icon is shown in the row status, this means that there is at least one question in the row with that status. The usual status hierarchies apply for DCRs, SDVs, Notes and Comments.
