Searching for SDVs

There are several ways of opening the SDV browser to display data for items with an SDV attached:

Searching for SDVs using the search panel

  1. Select View > Search Panel or click the Open Search Panel icon to open the search panel. Using the search panel

  2. Select SDV from the Data drop down list. See example

  3. Select your search criteria. More info

  4. Click the Execute search buttonto display the data in the SDV Browser in the main window. What to do if you are told your search exceeds the maximum number of records

To search for SDVs via the search panel, you need both the 'View data' and 'View SDV' permissions

Viewing SDV information for a single question from an eForm

Questions with attached SDVs are indicated by the following icons:

 

Planned SDV attached

Queried SDV attached

Done (resolved) SDV attached

 

  1. Open the relevant eForm.

  2. Right click the question status icon to the right of the question and select SDV > View from the popup menu. The SDV Browser is displayed in a window, containing SDV information for the current question only.

Using the shortcut button to view all Planned SDVs

Click the Planned SDV status button located on the tool bar to view a list of all subjects/visits/eForms/questions in the current study with the status of Planned SDV.

Using the shortcut button to view all Queried SDVs

Click the Queried SDV status button located on the tool bar to view a list of all subjects/visits/eForms/questions in the current study with the status of Queried SDV.

 

You can change the number of records displayed on a page and also the maximum number of records retrieved. Set this in Tools > Options > Environment.

 

To view an SDV on the eForm, you need the 'View SDV mark' permission
