MACRO provides four main ways to search for data:
Use the search panel to find, filter and export response data, subjects, audit trails, DCRs, SDVs, notes and freeze/lock history.
Use the Data Reporter to build, share, schedule and export simple or complex data searches. You can view the search results as columnar, frequency or cross tabular reports.
The Data Reporter combines the functionality of the Search Panel and the Query Module. It provides a more flexible way to search for and export data from within the Web Data Entry/Review module and is designed to work well with large data sets.
Your administrator may have set up a number of report links on the home page for quick access to specific data reports.
Use the five shortcut buttons on the toolbar to view these quick reports: Missing data, Planned SDVs, Queried SDVs, Raised DCRs and Responded DCRs.
As well as these standard buttons, your administrator may have set up additional custom buttons. Hover over each icon to see what it will do. It might open a report or a web page.
