The workspace

The main screen of the Query module is divided into three main areas, called SELECT, FILTER and OUTPUT. See image

SELECT allows you to choose a study to query, and select which question responses you want to look at within the study.

FILTER allows you to specify criteria by which your selected question responses will be filtered.

OUTPUT allows you to choose a format to display and store the results of your query.

You can resize the Query module screen as a whole by clicking and dragging any edge or corner of the screen. You can also resize each of the three main working areas separately, by clicking and dragging the thick horizontal bars which separate them.

Across the top of the screen are 4 menus.

The user name and associated user role are displayed at the bottom of the screen, along with the database you are using.
