Once data has been transferred to the central server, it is ready to be imported using the Auto Import module. Please note that transferred data cannot be imported into MACRO using the usual subject data import options in the System Management module.
When you click the Import Data button in the Auto Import (AI) module (or use a scheduled command), the following occurs:
Any laboratory definitions that have been changed at the site are imported.
Any Lock/Freeze messages from the site are processed (including any Rollback messages).
All subject data that has been changed at the site is imported.
Details of each import session are saved to a log file on the server, named log_autoimport_timestamp.txt
The default location is the Out Folder in the MACRO application folder but can be changed by selecting Output Folder... from the toolbar.
Please note that the Database Timestamp for each question response refers to the local database used by the remote machine and not the central database server. More on timestamps...
