Auto Import module
This module is part of the remote data entry feature. Use it to take study data that has been transferred from a remote site using the Data Transfer module, extract it from the compressed files and then import it into a database on the server.
Transferred data cannot be imported into MACRO using the usual subject data import options in the System Management module; it must be done via the Auto Import module.
Subject data that has been imported will display as read-only in the Web Data Entry/Review module on the central server to indicate that it cannot be edited.
You can run Auto Import on the server via the command line, enabling you to schedule automatic data import sessions.
