You can use the 'lasso function' to select questions, question groups and other eForm elements, then copy and paste them into another eForm.
Select the items you wish to copy by clicking and dragging.
Your selected items will be enclosed by dotted lines, with a blue square in the corner. See image
Right click on the blue square to see the lasso menu.
Select Copy Selected Items. This stores the items in a buffer ready for pasting elsewhere.
Open the eForm into which you wish to paste the items, and right click on the background.
Select Paste Selected Items from the popup menu. The selected items will appear on the new eForm, in the same positions as they were on the eForm from which they were copied. Note that the Paste Selected Items option is not available if you have not previously copied any items.
You cannot paste items onto an eForm if:
the items contain a question which is already on the eForm, either as a single question or as part of a question group
the items contain a question group which is already on the eForm
the items contain a question group which contains a question which is already on the eForm
any of the items have been removed from the original eForm
You cannot paste questions or question groups onto the same eForm they were copied from.
You can paste comments, lines, pictures and hotlinks onto the same eForm as they were copied from. However, because they will be pasted on top of the originals, you should move them immediately otherwise you may forget they are there. To help with this, the items remain selected immediately after pasting, and you can drag them using the blue square handle.
