To place a question onto an eForm, simply drag it over from the question list:
Open the Question List by clicking the Questions shortcut button.
Open the eForm you wish to work with by clicking the eForms shortcut button and selecting the relevant tab.
Drag the question onto the eForm. To do this, left click on a question in the question list. Whilst holding down the left mouse button, drag the question over to the eForm. Release the mouse button to drop the selected question onto the eForm.
As you add a question to an eForm, the question will also be added underneath the eForm icon in the question list.
You cannot use any question more than once on a single eForm, unless it is part of a Repeating Question Group.
You cannot use a question as part of a repeating question group and as a single question on the same eForm.

Normally you may use each question on as many different eForms as you wish. But if the Each question can be used once only option has been checked in the Study Details, a single question can only be used once within the study and so cannot appear in more than one eForm.
You can also copy and paste questions and question groups directly from one eForm to another.
Once a question has been placed on an eForm, there are various further attributes that can be specified which affect how the question is displayed and how it behaves. These are set in the eForm Definition window.
Note: We recommend that you do not place any eForm items directly to the right of a repeating question group. If you do, due to display restrictions on web pages, the group may not display correctly.
