Once you have created a question group, there are two ways to place the question group onto an eForm:
Drag an existing group from the Question List onto an eForm.
Or
Right click on a blank area in an eForm and select Insert eForm Question Group from the popup menu.
Select the Question Group that you wish to insert and click OK. The eForm Group definition window is displayed.
You cannot place a group on an eForm if:
The group already exists on the eForm
The group contains any questions which already exist on the eForm
The study has ’Use question once only' set and the group contains a question which has already been used on another eForm.
You can also copy and paste questions and question groups directly from one eForm to another.
Note: We recommend that you do not place any eForm items directly to the right of a repeating question group as display restrictions on web pages may result in the group not displaying correctly.
You can control when a new group row appears in Data Entry by setting group questions to Mandatory in the eForm Definition dialog. A new row will be
automatically created (up to the "Max Repeats") when all mandatory questions on the current row have been filled in. By setting certain group questions to be Mandatory, you can determine how many fields must be filled in before a new row is created
