Creating a question group

Select Insert > Question Group or right click on a blank area of the question list and select Insert Question Group from the popup menu.
Enter a group code for your new question group and click OK. Help on creating codes...
The Question Group Definition window is displayed.

Add questions to the group by selecting them from the left hand list and clicking the Add button to add them to the right hand list.

Remove questions from the group by selecting them from the right hand list and clicking the Remove button.

You can select more than one question to add or remove by using shift-click or control-click.

Group Code	This is the unique code assigned to the group when you created it, and cannot be changed.
Group Name	You can enter a descriptive name for the group here. Help on creating names...
Display Type	How the group will be displayed on eForms. In the current version only Autofit is supported, meaning the questions will be automatically laid out in rows within the group.
All Questions	The list on the left is the list of all defined questions in your study. If you select the Show unused questions only box, only unused questions will be shown in this list.
Show unused questions only	If you tick this box, only unused questions will be shown in the questions list above.
Group Questions	The list on the right shows the questions which belong to the group, in the order in which they will appear.
Add>	This button is enabled when you select one or more questions from the left hand list. Click the button to add them to the group.
<Remove	This button is enabled when you select one or more questions from the right hand list. Click the button to remove them from the group.

Click OK to save your changes, or Cancel to discard your changes. Clicking the form close button in the control box has the same effect as clicking the cancel button.

To move a question up or down within your group, highlight the question and click on the or buttons. This determines the order in which the questions will be displayed within the group on an eForm.

The question group visible on the eForm is in the main row. It is possible to create a sub row containing further questions which are displayed in a popup window. This sub row is accessed by clicking a 'Full row' link. Specify which questions you want to appear in the main and sub row in the Question Attributes section of the eForm Definition window. Specify the appearance of both types of row in the eForm Group definition window.
