Deleting a question group

There are two ways of deleting an individual question group:

From the Edit menu

  1. Select Edit > Question Groups... The Edit Question Group window is displayed.

  1. Highlight the question group you require and click Delete.

From the question list

  1. Right click on a group node in the Question List and select Delete Question Group from the popup menu. You will be asked to confirm whether or not you wish to delete this question group. If the question group is currently on an eForm the message will be 'This question group is used on one or more eForms. Are you sure you want to delete it?'

  2. In either case, click Yes to delete the question group or No to abort.

Deleting All Unused Question Groups

This option allows you to delete all question groups which have not been included on any eForm.

  1. Select Edit > Delete all Unused Question Groups. You will be asked to confirm whether or not you wish to delete all unused question groups.

  2. Click Yes to delete all Unused question groups or No to return to the study.

Note: The Delete all Unused Question Groups menu item is disabled if there are no unused question groups or if you do not have permission to delete question groups.

Note: You should not delete a question group from a study once that study has been opened for subject data entry.
