Removing a question from an eForm

When you remove a question from an eForm, the question is moved back into the Unused Questions list, it is not deleted from your study, and you can reuse it.

Note: You cannot remove a question from an eForm once the study has been opened for subject data entry. If you no longer want a question to show on an eForm you can hide it.

There are two ways to remove a question from an eForm:

To remove a single question

  1. Right click on the question and select Remove Question from the popup menu. The question will disappear from the eForm. If the question is not used elsewhere in your study, it will reappear on the Unused Questions list.

To remove two or more questions/ question groups

  1. Drag the mouse to lasso the questions you wish to remove. A dotted line will appear round any items you have selected, with a blue square in the corner.

  2. Right click on the blue square.

  3. Select Remove Selected Items from the popup menu and click Yes to confirm.

  4. The selected questions will disappear from the eForm and re-appear on the Unused Questions list.

Note: This method can also be used to remove other items from the eForm.
