To create a site, you need the 'Create site' permission. This feature has a database-wide scope.
Select Tasks > Site > Site Administration or right click on the current database icon in the tree view in the left hand panel and select Site Administration... from the popup menu. A list of existing sites is displayed.
Click Create Site. The Create Site window is displayed.
Enter a code and a description for the new site. See example

Select the country in which the site is located from the drop down list.
If the remote data transfer feature is switched on, you will have the option to set the location of the new site to be a server site or a remote site.
Click OK to create the site, or Cancel to close the window without creating a site. A new site is displayed in the list of existing sites.
A new site must be associated with the relevant study before it can be used.
To edit a site, you need the 'Edit site' permission. This feature has a database-wide scope.
Select Tasks > Site > Site Administration or right click on the current database icon in the tree view in the left hand panel and select Site Administration... from the popup menu. A list of existing sites is displayed.
Highlight the site that you want to edit and click Edit Site. The Edit Site window is displayed. Note that the Code field is greyed-out and cannot be changed.
Make your changes and click OK to confirm the change, or Cancel to close the window without changing the site.
Sites cannot be deleted but they can be switched between active and inactive. New sites are automatically active.
