Icons in the tree view

The database, study and site management icons are displayed at the top of the tree view in the left hand panel of the System Management main screen.

 

The current database (the one you are logged into) is shown in yellow. Right-clicking on the current database displays a menu of options; the functions available through these menus are also accessible through the menus at the top of the main System Management screen.

Clicking on any item in this section of the tree will show a list of associated users in the right-hand panel.

If you expand a database node in the tree, you will see the studies (and their associated sites) and sites (and their associated studies) in that database.

Database icons

	Registered databases
	Database you are currently logged into
	Other connected database, and name of database
	Disconnected database, or a database which has not been upgraded to the current version, and name of database

Study icons

	Studies
	Study, status 'In preparation'
	Study, status 'Open'
	Study, status of 'Closed to recruitment' or 'Closed to follow up'
	Study of any status, distributed to a site where no relevant user roles have been assigned
	Study with status of 'In preparation' with user roles assigned but not distributed to a site
	Study with status of Open with user roles assigned but not distributed to a site
	Study with status of 'Closed to recruitment' or 'Closed to follow up' with user roles assigned but not distributed to a site

Site icons

	Sites
	Active site, and site name
	Active site with studies distributed to it but no relevant user roles assigned
	Inactive site or site with user roles assigned but not participating in a study

The user management icons are displayed in the middle of the tree view in the left hand panel of the System Management main screen. See image

 

Clicking on a user icon shows the user's details on the right hand side of the screen.

Right-clicking on a user icon will allow you to view and edit that user's roles.

User icons

	Users
	Active user, with user name
	Active System Administrator user, with user name
	Inactive user, with user name

The role management icons are displayed at the bottom of the tree view in the left hand panel of the System Management main screen.

 

Clicking on a role icon shows the role definition on the right hand side of the screen.

Right-clicking on a role icon allows you to go to the User Role dialog.
