The SM menus

Password Policy	This enables you to define password properties.
System Properties	This enables you to set the 'timeout' period for all modules except the DE/DR module which has its own settings.
Logout	This enables you to log onto System Management as a different user.
Exit	This closes the System Management module.

You can also access many of these options by right-clicking on a database icon in the tree in the left-hand panel and selecting from the popup menu. Note that different options are available for the current database (shown as a yellow icon), and other databases.

Create Database	This enables you to create new databases for a given server or site.
Register Database	This enables you to register a new database.
Unregister Database	This enables you to remove a database from the list of databases.
Change Database Password	This enables you to change the password for a given database.
Security Database	This enables you to manage your security databases.
Lock Administration	This enables you to remove subject and study locks which have not been removed automatically (e.g. if a module has been unexpectedly terminated).
Restore Remote Site Database	This enables you to rebuild a remote site database in the event of loss, theft or damage to the site device.

New User	This enables you to create a new user account.
New User Role	This enables you to associate a user with a role.
Reset My Password	This enables you to change your own password.
View Deactivated Users	This toggle enables you to hide/show any deactivated users from the main user list

New Role	This enables you to create a new role
Go to Role	This enables you to go directly to an existing role.

Refresh	This enables you to refresh the tree view with any changes you may have made recently.
Communication Log...	This enables you to view the log of communication messages between the MACRO server and its remote sites.
System Log...	This enables you to view the log of system activities, such as opening, closing, copying, creating, importing, exporting and distributing studies and subject data.
User Log...	This enables you to view the log of user-related activities, such as logging in and out of MACRO modules and the changing of passwords.
Data Transfer Log...	This enables you to view the log of errors that occur during data transfer between the server and any remote sites.
Display unassigned nodes	This enables you to choose whether or not study/site nodes which have no associated objects (e.g. study/site/role associations) are displayed in the database tree.

Site	This enables you to create sites and to associate sites with studies and laboratories.
Subject Group	This enables you to create and manage static and dynamic subject groups.
Study	This enables you to import and export study definitions and to view the status of a study.
Laboratory	This enables you to import and export laboratory definitions.
Subject	This enables you to import and export subjects.

User Guide	This opens the help system.
About MACRO	This enables you to view basic information about the module such as version number, license number and copyright details.
