Recalling a study definition

If a study definition version has been distributed to a site in error, you can withdraw it from any site which has not yet connected to the server to download the study. If the study has already been downloaded, it is not possible to recall it.

  1. Select Tasks > Site > Study Site Administration or from the Site Administration window, click Study Site Administration. The Study Site Administration window is displayed.

  2. Ensure the option button is set to Sites by Study.

  3. Select a study from the drop down list.

  4. Check the information in the Participation tab to see if the study version has been received by the remote site. If it has been received, you can no longer recall it. If it hasn't been received, you can proceed.

  5. Click the Recall tab to see a list of remote sites/studies.

  6. Select the site and study definition that you wish to recall, and click Recall. The study definition will be removed from the set of files to be transferred to the remote site during the next transfer session.

  7. If you return to the Participation tab of the Study Site Administration window, the remote site will no longer be shown in the list of deployed studies.
