Authorisation |
If this eForm needs to be signed, this is the name of the user who is authorised to do it. |
Code |
The unique identifier for this question. |
Collect-if Condition |
This is the condition used if the study designer has specified the circumstances under which data should be collected for this question. |
Derivation |
This is the condition used if the study designer has specified that the response for this question should be automatically calculated or derived. |
Length |
This is the maximum number of characters that can be used when entering a response to this question. This is only relevant to text questions. |
Mandatory |
You must answer a mandatory question. It cannot achieve the status of OK if it is left unanswered. You will be warned if any mandatory questions have not been answered when you save the eForm. |
Name |
The name of the question. This is different from the question caption which appears on the eForm next to the question field. |
Optional |
You do not have to answer an optional question. It can achieve the status of OK even if it is left unanswered. |
Type |
The type of question. There are six types; each one requiring a different type of answer. |
Unit |
This is the unit of measurement to be used when entering a response to this question. This is only relevant to integer and real number questions. |
Validations |
Click in this field to display the Collection button. See image Click this button to view any validation conditions that have been set up for this question. If the response to this question satisfies these conditions then a validation message may be displayed.

Response |

Change Count |
This is the number of previous values saved to the database for this question. The changed values can be viewed in the audit trail. |
Comment |
A comment is a piece of text that is attached to, and closely associated with, an individual question. This feature is typically used to make clinically significant comments on a question. |
Cycle |
This indicates which cycle this question response was entered in, in the event of the question appearing in a repeating eForm/visit. |
CTC Grade |
This is the toxicity grade resulting from validating the test result using CTC. This is only relevant to laboratory test questions. |
DCR Status |
This indicates the status of any DCRs that may have been raised against this question. |
Full User Name |
This is the User Name of the user who entered the response. |
Lab Normal Range |
This is the normal range outcome resulting from validating the test result against the normal ranges for a particular laboratory. This is only relevant to laboratory test questions. |
Lock Status |
This indicates whether or not the question has been locked or frozen in order to prevent anyone making changes to it. |
Note Status |
This indicates the status of any notes that may have been attached to this question. |
Reason for Change |
If you change the question value from a previous entry, you may be asked to supply a Reason For Change (RFC). This field displays the most recent RFC for this question. |
Reason for Overrule |
If a validation message is displayed and the data entry user overrules it by selecting a reason from a list, this field displays the most recent reason. |
SDV Status |
This indicates the status of any SDV marks that may have been created for this question. |
Status |
This indicates the status of the question. |
Value |
This is the response that has been entered into the question field. |
From an eForm, right click on a question status icon and select View Question Information from the popup menu. The information is displayed in a popup window containing several tabs. The Question Properties is the default tab.
Note: All of the information within the Question Properties is for viewing only. You cannot make any changes to the data displayed.
